Renata Escobar

Renata is a highly experienced architect with a strong background in designing and delivering diverse projects across Ireland. Originally from Brazil, she graduated from the University of Londrina in 2002 and relocated to Dublin in 2005, where she has been practicing architecture ever since.

With over a decade of expertise spanning concept development to project completion, Renata spent more than eight years at Smith & Kennedy Architects in Dun Laoghaire. During this time, she worked on a wide range of projects, including public schools such as St. Brendan’s College, Scoil Lorcáin Primary School, and St. Joseph’s College Post Primary. Her portfolio also includes commercial buildings, high-end residential properties, office fit-outs, and large-scale housing developments like the Ballymun co-housing project by Ó Cualann Cohousing Alliance.

In 2018, Renata joined C+W O’Brien Architects, where she has been extensively involved in the design and development of multiple hotel and residential projects. Notable projects include the Hilton Hotel at Dublin Airport and the Co-Living development at Cork Street. Her expertise in large-scale developments, coupled with a keen eye for detail and functionality, has contributed to the successful execution of complex architectural projects.
