Seán is the Head of Graphics at C+W O’Brien Architects, where he leads the design and visual communication efforts that shape the firm’s marketing and communications strategy. With 18 years of experience working in architectural practices and creative agencies focused on the built environment, Seán has a strong background in graphic design and branding within architecture.
After returning to Dublin following an extended stay in London, Seán brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Before joining C+W O’Brien Architects, he led the graphics team at a prominent London practice specializing in residential architecture and urban design. There, he worked closely with architectural teams on a variety of projects, including design and access statements, planning reports, and bids. Seán also contributed to creative solutions for place branding, publications, and more.
His international experience includes participating in charrettes and planning events in Russia, China, the UK, Iceland, Ireland, and Germany, providing him with a broad perspective on global architectural practices. At C+W O’Brien Architects, Seán plays a key role in supporting the management team and assisting architectural staff with graphic design needs. He oversees the design and production of a wide range of print, digital, and web-based materials, including tenders, proposals, presentations, design statements, display boards, information graphics, award submissions, and marketing materials.
