Mary Boylan

Project Architect

Mary is a registered architect with over a decade of experience in the construction industry across Ireland, Australia, and the UK. Since earning her Postgraduate Higher Diploma in 2010, she has worked on a diverse range of projects, including commercial and residential fit-outs, historical building refurbishments, and large-scale residential masterplans.

Mary played a key role in the detailed design and delivery of two office and laboratory facilities for 3M UK PLC at Charnwood Campus. Her work included designing flexible collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, staff kitchenettes, and atrium reception areas—each carefully aligned with 3M’s brand identity and color scheme.

More recently, Mary served as a lead architect for a UK-wide interior rebranding program for Lloyds Banking Group. Given the historical significance of many of the bank’s branch buildings, she prioritized minimizing service disruptions while maintaining a strong working relationship with the client—both crucial factors in the project’s success.

At C+W O’Brien Architects, Mary is an Architect and Project Director  focusing on large-scale residential developments. She leads the design and delivery of key projects, including Kenure, Rush, and Celbridge Road, Maynooth, overseeing master planning, architectural design, and project coordination to ensure high-quality, sustainable housing solutions.

Mary’s expertise spans architectural design, heritage conservation, and large-scale residential developments, making her a valuable asset for projects that require both creativity and technical precision.
