Senior Architect

Matthew is a Chartered Architect with over nine years’ experience delivering projects from concept through to completion, with a particular focus on technically complex schemes in the commercial, science, and data centre sectors. He has worked extensively on both new-build and adaptive reuse projects, often in live environments and within listed buildings, where his meticulous attention to detail ensures that design intent is maintained through every stage of delivery.

In recent years, Matthew has led the technical delivery of high-specification projects with demanding mechanical and electrical requirements, collaborating closely with site teams to produce coordinated, buildable solutions that respond to client needs. His expertise in deep retrofit is exemplified in his leadership on the Grade II listed Victoria House conversion in London, transforming commercial offices into cutting-edge research laboratories.

A skilled communicator, Matthew facilitates cohesive collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, articulating and developing architectural responses to challenging briefs. His mentoring work with the University of Nottingham and London South Bank University reflects his commitment to nurturing the next generation of architects, providing academic guidance, crit panel participation, and one-to-one professional development.
